Wildlife Rehab Center Ltd. (WRC) is a public charity foundation and you can become a sponsoring member! WRC relies on the support of people like you to operate our facilities and programs. We do not receive government funding, and we’re able to take care of injured wildlife animals only with the help of our generous supporters.

WRC works in concert with the Humane Society of Kent County (HSKC). While the majority of HSKC’s resources are dedicated to placing companion animals in caring homes and promoting responsible and humane care of all companion animals, they have an open door policy regarding the acceptance of any type of animal thatmay come to their facility. The Humane Society of Kent County—and others in the community—rely on our services at WRC when an injured or abandoned wildlife animal, or other non-domestic species like migratory birds, come to their attention.

Wildlife Rehab Center Ltd. (WRC) is a registered nonprofit organization as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is further classified by section 509(a)(1) as a public charity foundation. Therefore, all of your charitable contributions and donations to WRC are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable under the law.

Wildlife Rehab Center Ltd. takes pride in our careful stewardship of your contributions. The amended section 6104(d) of the Internal Revenue Code entitles you to a copy of our annual information returns and financial reports. This information is available free upon request.
